Freydle is the most common I've seen but it's Yiddish. I need a Hebrew one. HELP, please.
I am looking for the Hebrew (not Yiddish) name that most often is used when the English name is Freida?
That's pushing it. Freida is a Scandinavian name and I don't recall their being any historical connections between Scandinavia and North Africa.
Freydle looks more Schw盲bisch than Yiddish, to me.
Reply:I have definitely seen the Yiddish name "Freidel". In the link below, they suggest:
"Freidel" means happiness =
Aliza, Gila, Rina, etc.
