What does the hebrew name meekhael (michael) mean in hebrew?

Darman is right. MI- in Michael means "who?" KHA is an abbreviated Hebrew form of KMO, that is "like, compared to", and EL is a Divine name. So "who is like God"? More an exclamation that a real question, like in the Song of the Sea, sung by Israel after the parting of the Red Sea.

What does the hebrew name meekhael (michael) mean in hebrew?
It's actually a pretty cool name - I'm no master of the language, but I did play with it some - in Hebrew it's spelled Mem-yodh-kaph-aleph-lamedh and means literally "Who is like Elohim?" meaning "who is like God?" (Elohim roughly translates as God-of-gods). Hope this sheds some light, because that's what he enjoys the most. Ask him. I did, and he answered - and still does. In fact, ask him anything, if you dare - just understand he answers his way, not ours. And He's Good.
