Is this a Hebrew name?

Is Natia a Hebrew name, i was told that it is from a hebrew speaker, but i asked a rabbi and was told they didnt think it was. i know it is Eastern european , but have you ever heard that this name is indeed Hebrew in origin, Thanks

Is this a Hebrew name?
No, it isn't.

There many Hebrew names that end with "ya" or "ia" (short for "God"), but the rest of the name is a Hebrew word.

"Nat" is not a Hebrew word.

The closest name I can think of is Natanya (which means "given by God").
Reply:It doesn't sound familiar, and I have been living here for llike, 30 years.Maybe you misspelled or misheard. Nati is a popular hebrew name, Netah - but not Natia. Maybe it is Nadia and then its Russian..ask that person again.
Reply:NATIA is from the Hebrew, meaning PLANT, SEEDLING.

NATIA is a symbolic name for boys born on Tu b鈥橲hvat, the New Year of the Trees, Arbor Day.
