Reply:The most consistently favourite choice of all loving parents for centuries = John! Your child will always love and respect you for the fact that he has some way out of avoiding the ostracism for his first name.
Reply:Check the old testament in the bible.
Reply:Just a note: El in Hebrew means God or the Lord, so any name that ends with an el means in Hebrew something of the Lord. Example: Gabriel=The Lord is my strength. So Daniel, Nathaniel, etc, would all have something of one of God's attributes in them.

Reply:Something from the Old Testament, then I guess. You could select from Jacob and his 12 sons: Ruben, Simeon, Levi, Naphtili, Isachar, Ascher, Dan, Zebulun, Benjamin, Judah, Gad, Joseph.





I would go with Levi, Benjamin, or Daniel, out of those options.


Then there's Abraham, Adam, Noah, David, Saul, Jonathan, Seth, Cain, Abel, Isaac, Esau, Moses. You might want to read up on some of them as some of these guys didn't fare very well.
